The Rules of Laam Generally, a Laam is always pronounced in Empty-Mouthed/Light manner.
Rule of Laam in the name of ALLAH (اللہ) (Almighty)
1. The only Word “ALLAH”(اللہ)’s Laam may be heavy when it has Fatha / Dammah, or there is Damma or Fatha before it the letter Laam will be pronounced with a full mouth. 2. If the Word “ALLAH”(اللہ)’s Laam has Kasrah on the letter before or there is Kasrah before it, the letter Laam will be pronounced in Empty-Mouthed/Light manner.. More
