The Rules Of Raa

Raa will be Full Mouthed (Heavy): 1. If The letter Raa has Fatha or Damma, the Raa will be pronounced full mouthed/Heavy. 2. If the letter Raa has sukoon, and before it Fatha or Damma,the Raa will be pronounced mouthed/Heavy. Raa will be Empty-Mouthed/Light manner: 1. If The letter Raa has Kasrah, the Raa will be pronounced in Empty-Mouthed/Light manner. 2. If the letter Raa has sukoon, and before it Kasrah, the Raa will be pronounced in Empty-Mouthed/Light manner.

The Rules of Laam Generally, a Laam is always pronounced in Empty-Mouthed/Light manner.

Rule of Laam in the name of ALLAH (اللہ) (Almighty)

1. The only Word “ALLAH”(اللہ)’s Laam may be heavy when it has Fatha / Dammah, or there is Damma or Fatha before it the letter Laam will be pronounced with a full mouth. 2. If the Word “ALLAH”(اللہ)’s Laam has Kasrah on the letter before or there is Kasrah before it, the letter Laam will be pronounced in Empty-Mouthed/Light manner..
